The stylish entry-level Vivo Y27L is now available in India for 12,990 INR or US$196.
If you’ll be purchasing the Y27L, it’s more the style and form that you’ll be paying for than the specifications. That’s because what’s inside the Y27L is fairly in-line with phones half its cost.
The Vivo Y27L has a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720p display; a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor along with 1GB of RAM, 16GB of ROM; an 8 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front facing camera, and lastly, a 2260mAh battery.
If nothing else, you’ll be reminded of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 with this set of specifications. But again, it’s the form and design that demand the premium; the Y27L is fairly lightweight 137 grams, and features a magnesium alloy back with the phone being just 6.9mm thick.
The dual SIM, 4G LTE phone should be available across major offline retailers in the coming few days.
