Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone will debut at the company's Steve Jobs Theater venue, a fitting stage for the announcement of a completely redesigned iPhone.

 Update: Apple’s 3D camera supplier is apparently on track to deliver sensors for the next iPhone’s iris and facial recognition.
Apple’s next iPhone isn’t supposed to arrive until much later in 2017, but that hasn’t stopped legions of fans from fervently speculating about it. Things may be a little different this year, as it’s the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. Rumors suggest we may see up to three models — the iPhone 7S, the 7S Plus, and the iPhone X (aka, the iPhone 8). The latter is expected to be an expensive, technical showcase phone released as a celebratory model.


Samsung’s red tint fixing update for Galaxy S8, starts rolling out

After almost 2 weeks of waiting (and some complaints from plagued users) it seems that Samsung began rolling out the most awaited red tint fixing software update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ models.

The much anticipated update has already reached the home market of the company (S. Korea) and for the S8 model it comes with firmware version G950NKSU1AQDG, while the S8+ gets G955NKSU1AQDG.

HTC U 11 appears on Geekbench with impressive results

HTC U 11, the upcoming flagship model of the Taiwanese company made a really impressive appearance on Geekbench recently, with model number HTC CBP.

This device went through several benchmarks and comes powered with Qualcomm MSM8998 SoC (a.k.a Snapdragon 835) and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Its benchmark listing confirms that it offers 4GB of RAM and manages to score 1912 points in single core, which is so far a bit higher than the average Galaxy S8+ score for the same benchmark (1812 points).


OPPO F3 Plus gets a black coat for the Indian market

China’s OPPO has announced a special Black Edition of its OPPO F3 Plus selfie expert phone for the Indian market.

Known simply as the OPPO F3 Plus Black Edition, the device is on sale for 30,990 INR (was spotted on top domestic online retailer, Flipkart) which translates to $480 and some change.

Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 and Mi Pad 3 Pro details leak

After several months of “silence”, rumors regarding the fate of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 tablet  have risen again and this time they look more interesting than ever.

An unknown Chinese source insists that the Chinese company plans to unveil two variants of the most awaited tablet: a Mi Pad 3 and a Mi Pad 3 Pro model with really impressive features. The Mi Pad 3 will retain the original 7.9-inch display size like its predecessors (with an unknown -so far- resolution)and it will be equipped with 4GB RAM and 64/128GB of storage options. It is expected to run on Android 7.0 Nougat and will be priced at ¥1299 ($188) and ¥1599 ($231) respectively.

Yotaphone 3 is in the works, according to manufacturer

If you’re a fan of Yotaphone series of smartphones then you’d be happy to learn that 3rd time is the charm, since the company confirmed that they will partner with ZTE to release Yotaphone 3 in 2017!
