64bit, 3GB RAM Hosan S7 launched in China with nano-injection alloy body
With all the smartphone news going on at the moment we managed to miss the launch of the Hosan S7 yesterday, but here are the full details of this stylish all metal phone with detailed photos.
Hosan have released their 2015 flagship contender and it really is an incredible looking smartphone. The stylish device comes with glass front and rear panels bonded to an all alloy chassis available in black, blue or gold.
Using a new H-Frame nano-injection technology, Hosan claim that the alloy body of the Hosan S7 is 30% more rigid than traditional alloy chassis designs which has allowed the designers to make 2mm thin bezels without affecting the strength of the structure.
The round profile of the Hosan S7 reminds us a little of the Apple iPhone 6, and should offer a nice amount of grip even when using the phone one-handed. The placement of the power button (top) and volume rocker (right side top) should also help for confident one handed operation.
An 8 mega-pixel front camera sits above the 5.5-inch 1080p display, which a rear 13 mega-pixel camera which has just a single LED flash. Cameras are sourced from the same supply as Apple claim Hosan bosses.
The bottom edge uses a standard USB for getting at the 16GB internal memory and charging, with stereo speakers on either side.
Processing comes from an octacore 64bit Mediatek processor, but Hosan have been coy not to reveal the full details of the chip only confirming that it will support 13 frequencies, LTE, 3G and 2G (dual
SIM). There is also 3GB RAM on board too, which will run Android 4.4.4 without issue.
Power comes from a built in 3000mAh battery with fast charge function that can charge the Hosan S7 to 51% in just 30 minutes!
The Hosan S7 will be available in China this month for 1999 Yuan, which is quite a lot for the hardware, but considering the design and attention to detail it might be worth considering. No word on if international resellers will be picking this one up.
