Get the Nexus 5X even cheaper (starting at $280) on eBay while you can

If you thought the newest upper mid-range “pure Google” phone was an interesting proposition at $380 and up, then a very alluring one at $330, and an outright irresistible bargain when dropped an extra 30 bucks, wait until you hear what eBay seller Buydig has to offer today.

You guessed it, we’ve just reached another Nexus 5X all-time record low price, in both 16 and 32GB configurations. The entry-level model costs a measly $280 on the auction website in your choice of carbon black or quartz white coats of paint, while the version capable of accommodating twice the data internally sets you back $330 only in the former color.

It’s important to stress you’re looking at H790 North American variants here, with 4G LTE speeds accessible on GSM and CDMA networks, and you get free “standard” shipping stateside. Technically, you can have the stock Marshmallow-running handheld delivered worldwide, but outside the US, you’ll be charged extra, and it’s hard to say if the deal retains its appeal. Especially sans a valid warranty.

At $280 though and nothing extra, the LG Nexus 5X is undoubtedly a steal, with a 5.2-inch Full HD screen on deck, plus a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor beneath the hood, 2GB RAM, 12 and 5MP cameras, fingerprint support, USB Type-C connectivity, and 2,700 mAh battery juice.

Don’t forget Google’s own markdown to $300 has a looming expiration date attached to it, whereas the eBay deal depends on quantities, and could thus last longer.
